Quotes of the day...

No CARB diet =
No Cheney
No Ashcroft
No Rumsfield
No Bush!!!

"How come Ohio has like 70 electoral votes?  I bet the corns voting too...F*cking corn."

"Bush won?  Again?  Yeah, I'm leaving the country too!!"

Funny how no one seems to be happy that the f*cking idot has won again.

I stole this from Galangs website, but I think its TOTALLY fitting.  And if any of you know Galang...I gotta say you should check out her website.  Her most recent posting is SOOOO true...and soooo sad.  How the hell did that dumb f*ck get re-elected?  I just dont get it.  Anyhow...here's the lyrics I stole from her...and she store from REM...

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aero plane -
Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn -
world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock,
speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height,
down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for
hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry with the furies
breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered
crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population,
common group, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its
own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the
reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright
light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn,
return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning,
blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle,
light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh,
this means no fear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament,
a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives
and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite.
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic,
slam, but neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine...fine...

Pattie has been a VERY busy girl!!!

Monday - Friday I work 8-5 at the firm

Tuesday and Thursday I volunteer with the Police Dept. from 6-9

Wednesday and Friday I work 5-9 at the store.

Saturday and Sunday I work at the store, more.

DAMN.  I work a lot.  Hopefully that means I can have fun Christmas Shopping.  However, I have a feeling that it means my wardrobe will grow REAL big, REAL fast.  Eh, whatevers.
Still waiting for PD to call me.  Apparantly, there MAY be a chance that my background is done by the end of November...meaning I MAY be able to start in January.  Not too sure...we'll see.  Im not gonna get my hopes up TOO much...but I certainly hope they call me!!!  The Lt. said my Sgt. is moving along VERY quickly with my stuffies...so we'll see what happens.
And now, its time for me to lay in bed and watch reruns of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

It's amazing how hard some things can be.  It's amazing how hard letting go can be.  And, it's amazing how long something can hurt.

*i love you daddy*

Sooooooooooo tired!!!  Ive been working overtime, plus my volunteer work and then I start my new job next week.  I dont know how I feel about going straight from one job to the next...but I guess I'll live!!!

Ran into Carl tonight.  He was working at Pac Place when me and Alex went in.  It was good to see him!  Me and Alex went to Old Navy, ran through Pacific Place, then came back to my apartment to watch West Wing.

I won suite tickets for the Thunderbirds hockey game this Saturday night.  Im pretty excited!!  I just haven't figured out who Im gonna ask to come with.  Plus, I have my ride along earlier in the day...so I gotta rush from that, catch the bus to Redmond, pick up the car, and head back to Seattle...watch the game, and then head back to Redmond to pick up Robbie.  Hopefully the game will be done by then...hahaha...that would be bad.

My finger hurts.  I dont know why.  It REALLY hurts.  Like, it woke me up last night cause it hurt so bad.  I dont understand why.  I didnt smash it or anything...it just hurts.

I talked to Leigh today.  It was the first time we talked in months.  Since before graduation, really.  Its kinda sad, but eh, I guess thats just the way things go.

Im trying to figure out when Im going home.  Im wanting to go for Tishas wedding, Todds wedding, Aydens birthday, Hokus graduation, and my class reunion.  Not to mention Christmas.  Next year will be the 3rd year in a row that I wont be home for Christmas.  Not liking that too much.  That 6 trips I want to take home next year...I'll be lucky if I make 2.  It'll prolly be Todd and Tishas wedding.  BUT...I really should be there for Hoku's graduation...meaning I have to give up one of the weddings.  I dont know which one though.  Im thinking Todd's wedding may be a little odd...being that his wedding party consists of the guys it does.  Hopefully it will all work out though...I hope.

Tomorrows volunteer class should be fun.  One of our speakers is this SPD Officer James, and he is friggin funny!!!  Should be good!!

Oh yeah...I made a mistake at work today.  Im pretty sure Im gonna get yelled at tomorrow, when the lady figures out what I did.  She doesnt like me.  Actually, she doesnt like anyone.  She just likes to yell at people.  Grr.  I dont like getting yelled at.  Especially when its not something that I need to be yelled at about...and not in the office place.  Not appropriate at all!!!

Like always...its time for me to eat ice cream and then go to sleep.  Peace out yo!!!
